Hair Weave Stops A Bullet

Ladies, check your weave… is it on good and tight? It just might save your life. That was the case for a 20-year-old Kansas City woman last night.

Police were called to a local market in the Missouri town after shots were fired. A local woman said she saw her ex-boyfriend parked in the store's lot. A second man approached her and told her her ex was still in love with her. When she rebuked the advance, her ex got out of his vehicle and began firing shots at the woman, shattering her back window as she fled.

She returned to the scene of the incident moments later to see the two men leaving. She called the police who found, “a bullet in the woman’s hair and said her tightly-woven weave likely stopped the bullet.”

Both men were located and taken into custody shortly after. The woman was unharmed.

Classic
There is something just so awesome about this story. Just goes to show, spend enough money on fake parts of your body, and who knows, they just might save your life! Who would have thought?

I just wrote a sketch about this story. I saw the video a few weeks ago and decided to write about it. It's so funny that this story would turn up on here. :) Anyway, you can see my sketches at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esuhx10po5w
