Interview: Rihanna Speaks Out on 'Good Morning America'

A brave Rihanna opened up to Diana Sawyer on Good Morning America Thursday about her relationship with Chris Brown, the incident that changed her life and gaining the courage to leave her abusive relationship. This singer spoke out about domestic violence, an issue that can affect all women regardless of it is a straight or a lesbian relationship.
In explaining why the singer kept going back to her violent boyfriend after he repeatedly hurt her, Rihanna said she was in love, "Even if Chris never hit me again, who is to say that their boyfriend won't? Who's to say that they won't kill these girls? These are young girls and I just didn't realize how much of an impact I had on these girls' lives until that happened."
When asked about the impact on her life, the singer said, "It was a wake up call for me...big time." As far as what is really important in a relationship, Rihanna knows better than to count on love alone. "F-Love...love is so blind," she told Sawyer.
