Have books aided in your relationship?

There are several books for lesbians that claim to help aid in a relationship. My girlfriend and I started reading them and using them as resources, but then we realized, our relationship really isn't much different than a heterosexual relationship except for society's views. (Well, and the marriage and pregnancy thing..)

Some of the sexual help books have really only been a conversation starter, but not actual help. The one that we purchased seem to be very out there and not much help for beginners. It actually scared her in the begininning.

I ordered a book on amazon last week that talked about lesbian conception and pregancy just because I am curious. That is far off for us though.

Have you found any books that have served as a helpful resource or have many just been an entertainment type of thing?
