RE: Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin is a great example for one of the strongest role models we have in todays polical avenue, in my opinion. She stood toe to toe against any male political counterpart democrat or republican....her presence at the national convention was heard all over the nation. She made everything get up and take notice that women are strong, confident, smart and she doesnt back down against any arguement by man or woman. Its not her style. Ok i will agree the comment about the russia from her back door was alittle cheesy....kinda really funny but i can see in todays news she is against the policys of President Obama and she is not backing down from her views or the policys that she wants for America. I really feel she has a future in Politics and we are gonna see alot more of Sarah....I will agree she is Hott, i so disagree with the comment about it having any influence in politics.....comeone good looks and politics thats like oil and water they dont mix..hahaha....She had some awesome ideas for America and I will agree our current President is not doing anything concrete that yall voted for him to do.....yep i didnt vote for him i am just sitting back and seeing what is not doing for me.....I voted for sarah and John....I know if they would have been elected we would be in such a better place than we are now.....im not a dreamer i am just being realistic...Its still early for the Obama administration for my final approval...I have an open mind and hey i will support him ...he is my President but he needs to do alot more than hes doing now for me to jump on his bandwagon...and as far as Sarah Palin all i have to say is YOU GO GIRL AND I AM 100% BEHIND YOU!!!!!! GIVE EM HELL!!!

Since that's sooooo much more important that actually being able to do your job. You can be dumb as a box of rocks...but HEY! Ya got a nice rack! Wanna be Vice President of the United States of America? You say you can see Russia from your window? Bonus! We need someone with that kind of foreign relations experience!

No wonder other countries laugh at us.

I think Sarah Pallin is good, plus she is very good looking. To bad she did not pass John Mcain and trying running for President like Hillary did. Let face it the current President is no better, makes lots of promises, but I have yet to see any results. Do not get me wrong no matter who runs the U.S.A. I am still proud to be American.

RE: 2009 American Idol Excellent

I'll admit it, Patrick Hall was one of my favorite contestants from American Idol season five, mostly because he was a fellow 'working musician', which for me, made him the most 'real' of the contestants. Week after week Hall struggled with the falseness factor of American Idol, which might have been irritating to American Idol's judges, but was awesome for Patrick fan's like me. A few months back, I was pleasantly surprised to find Patrick Hall had released a new single and video on MySpace which seemed to poke fun at the very same factors that Hall resisted during his stint on American Idol.

Dexter?s back for a stab at justice

THE third season of Dexter, an American TV series based on Darkly Dreaming Dexter, a novel by Jeff Lindsay, premieres on M-Net tonight and it smoothly takes off from where the last season left off.

Starring Michael C Hall as Dexter Morgan, an extraordinary forensics analyst who is also a ruthless killer, this series will make sure that you never see murderers the same way again.

Whoever told you that the most dangerous people are those who make you feel uneasy when they walk past, or the types who have that distinct deadly look in their eyes, might need to reconsider because Dexter makes it very clear that not all killers are like that.

In fact, he is a normal and somewhat charming man without a hint of evil in him.

In the first episode of the new season, we are introduced to his day-to-day routine.

He wakes up, brushes and flosses his teeth, makes breakfast and gets ready for a visit to the dentist.

There is nothing sinister about him, but that is just part of his strategy. He acts normally, meets a few people along the way, then kills and gets rid of the evidence without appearing suspicious.

As far as he is concerned, he is doing society a load of good and dubs himself a hero for getting rid of people that the justice system has failed to track down.

In a Ginia Bellafante article in The New York Times, he is said to swear by gore, which is his avocation as a forensics expert in the Miami-Dade County police department.

?Live a good life and society will take care of you. But if society drops the ball, then someone else has to pick up the slack. That?s where I come in,? Dexter explains.

After coming extremely close to being discovered in season two, in tonight?s episode, it seems Dexter is putting his life back together, but there is still the problem with the suspicious Detective Doakes. Dexter knows that he can outsmart Doakes again , but just how far will he have to go to get the detective off his tail?

ABC preps for a "Scrubs" return

Comedy series "Scrubs 1-7 DVD" is inching closer to a ninth season, with most of the main cast members locked in to return.

The show would return to ABC, where it began airing in January, after seven seasons on NBC.

Star Zach Braff has closed a deal to come back for six episodes to transition the show to its new setup, which is still being worked out.

ABC and creator Bill Lawrence have said that they envision the show continuing with a mix of original cast members and some of the interns introduced this past season.

Also signed for six episodes is Sarah Chalke.

Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn all have closed deals to continue as regulars, but they are also involved in pilots for potential new series, which would take priority. Faison and Flynn have roles in ABC's pilots "The Law" and "The Middle," respectively. McGinley is on CBS' drama pilot "Back."

Judy Reyes, who plays head nurse Carla Espinosa, has not been approached for a deal but may appear as a guest star if "Scrubs 1-7 DVD" is renewed.

It is still not clear if "Scrubs 1-7 DVD" would continue as a single-camera comedy or switch to a multi-camera format or a hybrid of the two forms.

Fox's Fringe Renewed for Second Season

Fox has renewed Fringe for a second season, the network announced Monday.

The renewal isn't exactly a surprise. Fringe has consistently posted decent ratings, and Fox boasts that it's the No. 1 new series among the prized adults 18-to-49 demographic.

Other developments pointed to a renewal. In recent weeks, Star Trek vet Leonard Nimoy was cast as weird scientist Dr. William Bell, a character who will first appear in the season finale, but who is scheduled to recur in Season 2. Plus, network sources indicated that the series, unable to renew tax incentives in New York City for a second season, might relocate to Vancouver.

In a statement, series creator J.J. Abrams said, "Fringe continues to gain momentum, creatively and with viewers. We couldn't be more thrilled that Fringe will continue to freak people out for at least another season!"

Fringe airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET on Fox. The season finale is May 12

Hundreds Attend Rally To Support Lesbian Victims

Just heard about this on my local news station.
http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_29183.aspx

Horrible.

Nice to see the community come out and support the victims. Shame on this man for attacking two women. Saddened it happened in a city a few hours away from mine. :(
